Element: Establish business requirements and supply criteria
  • Identify required textile materials and resources
  • Use research skills to locate sources of materials and resources
  • Develop supply criteria and establish potential suppliers that meet those criteria based on business objectives
  • Confirm communication channels for suppliers and establish communication processes
       
Element: Assess and compare suppliers
  • Analyse and compare capacity of suppliers to meet quality and sustainability requirements
  • Determine supply conditions and how these impact the supply relationship
  • Identify and analyse all direct and indirect financial considerations
  • Document findings according to workplace procedures

  • Select suppliers based on outcomes of assessment

Assessment Tasks
